The Friction
Standard QR generators were easy to find but hard to trust for a polished pitch. Custom colors were often locked behind payment, wrapped in ads, or too imprecise for the gold visual language I needed.
QR-it began as a pitch-deck constraint: I needed a precise gold QR code that matched a high-stakes presentation without accepting ads, paywalls, or weak branding.

The tool had to be ready quickly, work in the browser, and solve the core need without expanding into a large feature set. The presentation mattered more than building a broad QR platform.
I mapped the required flow, checked reference tools, and used AI-assisted workflows to build a focused browser utility for custom colors, live preview, and clean export.
The presentation shipped with an on-brand QR code, and the tool became part of my recurring workflow for decks, portfolio links, and fast asset sharing.
