QR-it

QR-it began with one concrete presentation need: I wanted a gold QR code that matched the deck, looked polished, and did not come with ads or paid restrictions.

The Problem

A basic QR code is easy to generate. The harder part was making it feel right inside an important deck. I needed a specific gold tone, but the tools I found were either full of ads, locked color control behind payment, or did not give enough precision.

The Constraints

The tool had to be ready fast because the presentation was still the priority. It needed to solve one job well: choose a color, preview the result, export a clean QR code, and get me back to preparing the pitch.

The Solution & Build

I checked reference tools, mapped the simple flow I needed, and used AI to help build a focused browser tool for custom colors, live preview, and clean download. I kept the feature set small so the result would stay fast and reliable.

The Impact

The presentation shipped with a QR code that matched the visual language, and QR-it became a small tool I still use for decks, portfolio links, and quick sharing moments.
